first we will need some ingredients for making base ( curry):

  • fish
  • Onions
  • tomato for paste
  • cumin powder
  • salt
  • olive oil or any vegetable oil
  • red chilli powder
  • turmeric powder
  • fennel seeds
  • water
  • green chilli
  • garlic and ginger powder
  • garam masala
  • curry leaves ( curry patta)


  • Let saute the onion pieces on a medium flame for 2,3 minutes then add garlic, ginger powder.
  • Now add tomato paste ( blend into a blender and make a thick paste).
  • After we will add remaining ingredients cumin powder, fennel seeds and green chillis.
  • we have a thick material. Divide into two parts. One part for marination and others for making curry.
  • First, we will marinate the fish so all the spicy ingredients absorb into it.
  • After that take another pan and fry the marinated fish.
  • Now take the remaining material and now blend the material properly.
  • Take another pan, add green chillis, curry leaves and 2 tablespoons of oil heat on low flame. When they turned into a light golden brownish colour.
  • now add the blended mixture and add garam masala over it. Mix it well.
  • Add water in it to make a lightless thick gravy or base.
  • Bil it on a low flame.
  • After 3-4 minutes add fry fish pieces into it.
  • And again heat them on low flame for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now your fish curry has been ready. you can serve it with chapati or roti, also with white rice.

2. How to make fish biryani/Fish Biryani recipe

Another tasty and yummiest recipe and also my favourite dish. Sometimes in chicken biryani, we marinate the chicken pieces before and leave it for 2 hours. But in fish biryani, we marinate the fish pieces but don’t leave it for hours. After marination, we cooked the fish.


  • Fish
  • rice
  • onions

  • garam masala
  • cumin powder ( jeera, zeera)
  • red chilli powder
  • ginger and garlic
  • clove
  • 2-3 curry leaves
  • 1 small lemon
  • cinnamon leaves or powder
  • water
  • olive oil or any vegetable oil

  • first marinate the fish with spices, after that fry it on a high medium oil
  • After boiling now stain the rice on a sieve and let the water drain out.
  • Now take on the pan and saute all the ingredients.
  • when a fresh and spicy spell you felt add yogurt and ginger, garlic paste.
  • Heat them on low flame.
  • Add water in it.
  • add boil rice in it after 2-3 minutes add fry fish pieces into it.
  • Now rest the fish on a low medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
  • Now spicy and yummiest biryani fish has been ready.
